John Everitt is a project coordinator and is currently working on the project. John works on the predesign phase for many projects and recently expanded his workload on the NFDL project to include construction documents and design work.
The architecture field was a decision he made in high school and followed through with in college. 鈥淚 spent a lot of time on 3D programs in my later school years and thought those skills could transfer to an architecture career; I鈥檓 proud to say they definitely did,鈥 John said. 鈥淲ith my fascination in visual arts, and architecture being the 鈥榤other of all arts鈥, I found a career I鈥檓 passionate about.鈥
The past year has been full of memorable experiences in John鈥檚 career, with one in particular standing out. 鈥淚 was asked to create renderings for an interview our firm was doing, with the turnaround time being only a few days. I created detailed renderings within the timeframe (for us to include in the presentation to the client), and a couple days later we heard that we were the firm chosen for the project. It was a rewarding experience knowing that the work I did directly helped 海角社区 win the project,鈥 John said.
Outside of work, John likes to stay busy with creating animations and learning new programs on the computer. Also, two of his coworkers and himself are a part of the where they鈥檒l be submitting a multi-use building design to the City of Milwaukee this summer. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been a fun experience working with them and designing something for the city I live in 鈥 whether it wins or not,鈥 John mentioned.
