Josie May is the proposal and communication coordinator and is responsible for the coordination and creation of proposals. She also works on coordinating and creating interview documents (that occurs after we have been shortlisted and chosen for an interview by the client).
Switching to the communications field in college after starting on a pre-med track, she quickly found her passion in writing. At 海角社区, growing her skillset in Adobe InDesign to create proposals has brought design elements into her writing style, elevating her enthusiasm for writing. 鈥淏ecoming proficient in Adobe InDesign has been an excellent skill to advance in and streamlines the proposal process immensely,鈥� Josie said.
鈥淚n my current role, I value the opportunity to showcase how our firm can help a client transform their spaces to better align with their current and future goals in our proposal document,鈥� Josie said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a rewarding feeling when we鈥檙e awarded a project after submitting our proposal.鈥�
Joining the marketing team a year ago, Josie has enjoyed the close-knit, collaborative team dynamic among the group of professionals. 鈥淭hey all celebrate individual successes both in and outside of work, which has been wonderful to be a part of,鈥� Josie mentioned.
Outside of work, she enjoys venturing out to antique shops around the city and attending concerts, especially indie rock and classical rock concerts.
