This innovative school for fifth- and sixth-grade students advances our mission to design lasting solutions that shape lives and communities for the better.
海角社区 looked to the city of De Pere’s layout to influence the building鈥檚 organization, solidifying the school’s connection to its community.
The school is organized into two parts connected by a main corridor: the west side of the building houses grade-specific classrooms, referred to as 鈥渘eighborhoods,鈥� and the east side hosts communal spaces such as the cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium, and fitness areas. Administrative areas and classrooms that serve all students 鈥� such as art, music, and foreign language 鈥� are located along the main corridor, like shops along main street.
