The new building increases the school鈥檚 capacity from 400 to 500 students. The Clarke Square neighborhood is more centrally located for many students, while remaining close to the growing number of corporate partners in its work-study program.

Cristo Rey Mission
The mission of Cristo Rey centers around the Jesuit value of Cura Personalis, 鈥渃are for the whole person.鈥 As a response to this mission, the building is organized into three parts relating to the mind, body, and spirit of an individual: classrooms (the 鈥渕ind鈥) are located in the academic wing at the west end of the building; the school鈥檚 athletic facilities (the 鈥渂ody鈥) are in the building鈥檚 southern wing; and the center of building (the 鈥渟pirit鈥) houses the main entrance, chapel, commons, learning stair, and media center.
